| A huge thank you to everybody that came out, sent an encouraging message, or made a donation! The event was an unbelievable once-in-a-lifetime experience. Running that last mile with everyone cheering my name was ... unreal. Who would have ever imagined a slightly-chubby, extremely-pale kid from Southwest Missouri ever finishing a marathon with an entire crowd rooting for him? I know I couldn't. To make it even better, the event wasn't about me. It was about making a difference in Africa. And we did just that! We raised over $500 and had nine kids sponsored!
